On Saturday, August 22nd 2026, we hosted the second ever "Battle of the Bifanas" event at the IES Portuguese Hall of San Jose in San Jose, CA and it was an absolutely unbelievable event and turnout! Approx. 6,500 guests poured in and out of the festival throughout the day enjoying amazing food, great entertainment and an incredible live concert to cap off the night! Safe to say, it was truly a night to remember and one our community will never forget!

Back to Back Champions!

Mariana Flores and her team from PBSJ (Portuguese Band of San Jose) claim the title for the second year in a row, becoming the first back to back champions in Battle Of The Bifanas history. Congratulations on an incredibly delicious bifana and a competition well fought. Pulling in second place were the Santa Clara Bifanistas, with third place going to the Azorean Brothers.
